Why is Dodds still in Charge?

Back from work… has he gone yet?

God can you imagine Westagaard playing in the Championship, he is not anywhere good enough for League one even. I really think he would struggle in the National League.

I think this a little unfair.First he was injured, then he’s been in and out of an unsettled team. Most of the players have faded as the season has gone on for reasons discussed many times on here.

You hit the nail on the head. We are not in the championship and are not likely anytime soon. Who the F££k is running our club.

I can only say it as I see it James. I love our club and support any players who wear our colours but I do not think Magnus is first team material.

That is how I see it and I appreciate you may have a different view.

Kone didn’t look like first team material after 6 months under Dodds.

He’s doing alright now, isn’t he? My QPR-supporting colleague can’t believe how good he is :man_facepalming:

Just checking if he’s still there.

I just don’t think I’ve seen enough of him to make that judgment. I could probably say the same about several squad members. Trying to put a run of performances together in this team must be incredibly difficult.

Nice early finish today. Has he gone yet?

Very hard to feel anything but frustration with the club at the moment. Attending on Saturday feels like a dutiful chore that must be completed, merely because I have a season ticket. Change needed asap. Change was required in summer but the shit exec team bottled it.

Personally I am quite entrigued to see what the atmosphere will be like if we lose. Now I want him gone I am completely relaxed about giving him hell.

I know how you feel. I to am a season ticket holder and I will be cheering my team on, on Saturday and if we loose I will hope someone will see the light.

The atmosphere will be if you cough too aggressively towards one of our players you’ll get several hard stares.

Get ready for Dodds out. You don’t know what you’re doing on Saturday if we lose. Surely Rice will have to ACT !! Attendance figures will go dramatically down if the team keep performing as they have been this season. Still not convinced the players are anywhere near the standard of last years team. If Dodds goes , take Stockwell with him.

If I had a pound for every picture of Dodds dressed as a clown I’ve seen on social media I’d have £25 by now. So it’s deeply ironic that……

Dan Rice (January 23, 1823 – February 22, 1900) was an American entertainer of many talents, most famously as a clown, who was active before the American Civil War. At the height of his career, Rice was a household name. Dan Rice also coined the terms “One Horse Show” and “Greatest Show” while popularizing the barrel-style “French” cuff. He was a figure in the new American mass culture brought on by the technological changes of the Industrial Revolution.[1] Rice ran for President of the United States in 1868.[1] With changes in circus venues and popular culture after the Civil War, his fame has gradually slipped into such historical obscurity that in 2001 biographer David Carlyon called him “the most famous man you’ve never heard of”.[1]

I think that’s harsh on the players, we’ve not seem them at their best because they’re under orders to fanny about. And as for Dodds going, he’s part of this ‘project’ and any replacement would be chosen by the same people and expected to do a similar kind of thing. We need to ditch Fannyball and get a proper ‘Director of Football’ before anything will change much.

A lot of people were prepared to give Dodds the benefit of the doubt this season, myself included. Even if it was against our own better judgment. We probably knew in reality how it was likely to pan out after last season’s surrender. That good will has now evaporated, and there seems to be a very real possibility that we could be involved in a relegation battle this season. Surely this can’t be allowed to happen. Time for change.

Agreed. The only 3 players that have been consitantly picked are Van Sass,Grimmer, and Leahy. The rest have been in and out of the side.None of them have settled into Doddsball either. No way they should be compared just yet in my humble opinion.
