I couldnât really give a toss whether players applaud the fans at the end.
If they want to then fair enough, go for it, itâs a nice touch. But If they donât, I canât say it particularly affects my match day experience.
The worst of all worlds would be them doing it just because they feel somehow obliged to do it or theyâll be criticised on here and held in lower regard by the fanbase.
âŚ.and donât get me started on players thinking they have to apologise on social media for some incident in a game or their overall performance.

Itâs pretty much everyone that could be released has been released really.
I would imagjne there will be offers for some of the younger folk from teams in Beds and Kent.

Iâve really tried to give the ownership group the benefit of the doubt, but for Sam to only find out this morning that heâs leaving then I have no words. What are we playing at? I feel like the last bit about maintaining the culture is slightly pointed too.

What an absolute class act Sam Vokes is. Definitely a couple of pointed lines in there as you say, in the same way that Blooms mentioned about 3 times in his first Luton interview about feeling wanted.
My gut feeling is the reason he was only told this morning is because we have a bunch of cowardly pu55ies running the club.

I may be misremembering but I thought the official Twitter account basically confirmed he wouldnât be playing for us again the day he broke his arm? So that suggests he was hoping for / in discussions around a role on the coaching staff, and the rug has been pulled from underneath him.

He didnât only find out this morning, and that post will have been written by his agent. Just slightly misleading wording.

I think that is the norm at every club. Players come in after the season finishes to be told if they would be offered a new contract or let go.
