Simons is young with good potential. He needs to learn from a few hot head moments for sure. However he has the ability and energy to cover Scowen in my opinion.
I would like Butcher to be given a chance again in preseason, I would put him ahead of Bakinson.
Simons, Butcher, Leahy, Lowry plus one more would be a decent group.
Iād be surprised if any of the senior players who were loaned out play for Wycombe again

It wasnāt the following day though was it? Vokes literally says he found out that morning.
At the time heād broken his arm it was clear his season was over. Iād have expected there to be a conversation with him at that point about whether or not he was in our plans for next season or not.
Ultimately Iām surprised that Vokes was surprised he was on his way. At his age, and after his service, Iād have expected us to be having a conversation at an earlier point.
