The winners from the end of season awards evening.
The constitution of the Southern Premier for next season.
The number of teams increases from 10 to 12, because the bottom two, Selsey and Badshot Lea, have not been relegated. That is surprising given that they only gathered five points between them this season. The two feeder leagues below had teams with very good records and not promoted, because it’s only one up.

To round things off, the Southern Regional Division One North table was completed this week. Beaconsfield were awarded a home win against Caversham for a match not played in April.
In that division, Shannon Read finished second top scorer with 23 goals from 20 games, behind Penn’s Tara Woodward, who bagged 25 from 26.
In the JPL, the U18s finished a good third, which I think is their highest finish. I wish we had player stats from that league, but we know from the end of season awards that Lillie Bixby was top scorer for the Chairgirls.
As reported before, Kayla Potter was the Golden Boot winner in the Southern Premier with a remarkable 34 goals from 21 games, eight clear of the next player. I am glad, and relieved, to see that she has signed on again. According to the latest Trust W3 report, “the entire elite squad had already signed up for next season with interest from elite players of other clubs expressing an interest to join W3”.

Did Penn’s Tara Woodward used to play for us?
She did, top scorer for a season or two, before retiring from football, but she has returned. She was at Long Crendon last season.
