I think the whole season’s fixtures are released pre-season, expect it to be w/c 13 July.
Spain v England, key World Cup qualifier, on ITV at 8pm tonight
That was a trouncing and a half, England got away with 4-0.
I thought Spain were a joy to watch
I have created a map of the FAWNL D1 South West clubs for next season, with distance and fastest travel time without delay on a Sunday morning, from Burnham FC. Some clubs use more than one ground, Bristol Rovers also used Yate Town six times last season, Bournemouth Sports used four different grounds, but the pinned ground is the primary one.
“Fifty-two Women’s National League clubs have signed a letter sent to the Football Association opposing proposals to introduce top tier academy teams into their system.”
The list of 52 clubs has not been revealed.
Amen
The winners from the Presentation evening last Friday.
Lois Dolder scored the goal of the season, great technique from the tightest of angles.
Yes, this appears to be a change of direction by Rob Couhig, who appeared to have no interest in their women’s team.
Kayla Potter has started a fundraiser to help towards the cost of private surgery for her ACL rupture.
“After months of waiting, I still don’t have a surgery date. I’ve made the difficult decision to pursue private treatment. The funds raised will go towards surgery, rehabilitation, and physiotherapy, helping me get back to football, back to the life I love, and back to moving the way I always have.”

The London Bees game at The Hive is on their Community Day. The Chairgirls game at 12:45 (free entry) is followed by Barnet v Oxford United at 3pm.
The women’s team seems to have been given an increased presence on the club website (e.g player photos on ‘teams’ section) which is a positive. Can’t see anything about season tickets or the ownership scheme on there unless I am missing it. Anyone heard anything since filling in the form?
Apparently London Bees used to be called District Line Ladies, which is a much better name!
I’ve not had a response yet.
This video of Anisha, Kayla and Chloe in pre/rehab training is encouraging. Who has had their op?
FAWNL fixtures will be released on Wednesday 15th July, no time given.
The friendly against Chesham United at Burnham on Sunday will now kick-off at 1pm. Brought forward because of the rising temperature in the afternoon.
The annual Sponsors’ Cup will take place at Burnham on Sunday 9th August, 2pm, against Farnham Town who are newly promoted to the Southern Premier.
