I had been wondering if Emani was still part of the sqaud. Thanks as ever for the updates.

Other results today.

Teams below us continue to take points off each other.

Apart from that MK thrashing of Woodley, the other B & B result today was Penn & Tylers Green 0-2 Maidenhead United. The remaining tie, New Bradwell St Peter v Ascot United, is on Tuesday.

I have corrected my mistake for the Haringey scorer, Kayla Potter assisted for Chloe Melton to score.

those down wit da youth will be amused to see the score on penalties.

@YorkshireBlue, you’ve got me there, can you enlighten me!

6-7 craze

Oh yes, I do remember reading about that, but I’m obviously too old to be in on the joke! When I was at school we had nonsensical phrases like “just a shade”, with a shake of the hand.

There are no fixtures tomorrow for the two youth teams.

On Sunday the Firsts return to league action when they play Woodley United at Burnham, a preview to come for that.

Tonight at Burnham (19:45), the Isthmian Women’s Cup adventure continues, in the quarter-finals against tier 6 side Newmarket Town. They play in the Eastern Region D1N, currently fifth out of 12 with a W4-D4-L3 record. Last season they finished third, nine points from the top, and fourth the previous season. This season in the FA Cup they lost 2-0 at Needham Market in 1QR. In the Isthmian cup they had a 3-1 win against tier 7 Maldon & Tiptree, and a 5-2 win against tier 5 St Albans City, both at home. Their match at Dunstable Town on Sunday was postponed. The goals are spread about, Abbie Corbyn and Abbi Griffin lead with five each.

After publishing the initial draw in August, the Isthmian League have said no more about this competition. When I contacted them to find out the QF draw and results so far, they asked W3 for permission to give me the information. It seems they want to keep the competition low key and on a need to know basis, which is surprising.

These are the results so far, tier in brackets. Chatham Town are holders and favourites.
