‘Mad Max’ is an incredibly harsh ‘typecast’ nickname. He was a good player for us. A good personality. He made an error and it didn’t work out in the end, but still one of the best keepers we have ever had IMHO. Onwards and upwards Max.

I certainly didn’t mean it as derogatory. I know the club used it when he was with us too, in official posts, videos etc. I don’t think he took it as an insult in the slightest.

Kilmarnock are rumoured to be keen on signing Max.
Well, at least he speaks Scottish. Out of the eight clubs that Max has represented, about 60% of his total appearances have been with Livingston and Wycombe.
Good luck to him. He served us well for the vast majority of the time he was with us.

I think I’m right in thinking Sam lives pretty near Dobbo in Hampshire, so imagine they’ll share lifts. Hope their music tastes don’t clash.

Pleased to see Vokesy land a contract, still has something to offer the game. Good person and will keep tabs on him, Gaz and Dobbo next season, hoping they can do well!
