Kirk at Hitchin, the day the league title was clinched.

I remember Kirk playing for us. Sad to hear the news of his death. That 86/87 season was the second one where I’d attended on a regular basis. A classy player for us, alongside another classy defender in Keith Barrett. That was a great team, winning the Vauxhall-Opel League by some distance, and adding the Berks & Bucks Cup (beating Aylesbury Utd in the final) and the Capital League Presidents Cup (beating Barnet in a two-leg final).

How many caps did our record international win?

Not 3,2,1 but seven yes seven. Always loved Ted.

Sam Rogers has 1 cap for Canada U16 as a goalkeeper in May this year. Wonder who he’s on trial with?

Mark Rogers, one of my all time favourites!! And an all time “moment” on the magical FA Cup run when he dived into us in the terrace behind the goal at Grimsby after scoring the 3rd goal that night.

Another goal in Europe for Tjay today

Was it a penalty rebound?

Yeah this time. Still retaining an impressive record this season and keeps his side in the tie at 1-1. Difficult job in Yerevan though. Victory would ensure Conference League qualification at minimum though, so huge incentive to go there and get a result.

Just seen the interview with Mark (Ted) Rogers, I first met him before he started with us on the independent supporters coach travelling to a game and he chatted to us about his life in Canada and his ambitions. Then when he took his chance he became a solid player for us and he played his heart out he never left anything in the changing room and for that reason he’s always got a spot on my all time Wycombe team even if he’s on the bench.

Humphreys and Al-Hamadi both on the bench for Ipswich. Allsop starts for Birmingham.

Uche scores his first goal for St Johnstone, a far post header, for a 1-0 lead at Ross County.

Edit - first league goal, he scored two in the league cup earlier this season.

Nice to see Cam Humphreys get a few minutes tonight. Pretty unsavoury end. Stay classy, Birmingham fans.

AAH got a bit of time as well. Lovely to see Birmingham getting stitched up with a dodgy penalty.

Uche seems to be settling well again in Scotland. Has had a rough few years.
