Joel Grant, Reuben Reid and Ian Pearson were the three I could think of plus Hartridge (who to be fair hasn’t strictly played for Plymouth yet).
Scarr and Stonebridge haven’t played for Exeter.

Hartridge had a terrible start at full back for us. Hard for any player to recover from that. Yet he showed resilience and, pre season vs Cheltenham at centre back, actually had a good game. It was obvious we had better choices though so he moved on. A full season at Burton shows he is at the correct level. Given his previous clubs suggests his life is in the West Country. I wish him well.

Was thinking Jason Banton on the presumption that one of his 182 clubs would have been Exeter but it appears not.
More shocking is that he is still “only” 33.
There is a 3rd ex Wanderer in this line up.

Richard Blue played 6 times for the Wanderers In the 86/87 season. I remember his last game at Earlsmead, he was given a torrid time by the Harrow Borough wide men.
Incidentally Barry Silkman made his debut that night.

Must haven been 1886/87!
If I remember rightly, Harrow use to get regular awards for their impeccable playing surface. It was a real contrast to a lot of Isthmian league grounds at that time.
I remember going to Green Pond Lane (Walthamstow Ave), in August, and there was a big puddle in a rutted penalty area.
Hendon always seemed to be a mud bath, Croydon awful, as was Barking. Leytonstone barely a blade of grass on it. Tooting, big and bobbly. Sutton’s a terrible surface as was Carshalton.
