Correct Mr P

The final player is quite a difficult one

No that is Rudi Hedman, who is the brother of the current women darts world champion Deta Hedman.

Scott Young is actually bottom left front row.

Rob Lee appointed as Director Of Football at Hornchurch.

Doesn’t look a day older than his last appearance for us.

The final player, is next to Sean Norman on the end, Keith Bowen. Bowen came on loan to us from Barnet, and scored in his only game. It was the Isthmian league Vauxhall -Opal charity shield against Bognor Regis in which the Wanderers won 3-0. It was the days that Barry Fry assembled huge squads before off loading them on loan or permanent deals. Not sure why Bowen never appeared again ? But Graham Westley and Barry Little shortly after arrived from Underhill.

Seems Bartolo is destined to be as much of a journeyman in his senior career as he was in his youth career

Russell Martin off to manage Leicester City.

So we have Russell Martin at Leicester, Blooms (& Dodds) at Oxford, what other ex-players are going to manage in League one next season? Will someone come looking for Gaz?

I think Martin should bring in Dodds, at least they would be on the same wave length as far as style of play!

You forgot Alex Revell!

Didn’t Dodds go to Blackburn?

It’ll be fascinating to see how Russ does at Leicester.

Matt Bloomfield: Oxford United sack head coach - BBC Sport

Gobsmacked at that.

Going full Watford over there. Agent Blooms did his job relegating them though

Seems a bit of history repeating itself in some ways:

“ Since the end of the season there’s been a shift at the top of the club. Dusan Bogdanovic came in as chairman, an ex-pro player and agent, and whilst his experience in the English game is limited, there is every reason to expect him to want to be more hands on with the football side of the club than his predecessor.”

New Chairman coming and probably wanting to implement is own team/way of doing things.

I have always said when Rice came in he should have either let things naturally run its course and delayed implementing the new structure he and ML wanted to put in place or sacked MB in the summer rather than what happened.

I suspect the new Oxford Chairman decided to go with the sack option.

Who knows, maybe even MB himself put forward a back me or sack me plea based on his expirences here.
