Feels like he’s barely played much football in the decade since he left us.
What’s not to like, getting paid good money and not having to face all the abuse behind him.
Bring a professional number 2 isnt a bad gig for a keeper. Play it well and you end uo as Scott Carson with 11 trophies to your name.
Ingram probably isnt getting a bigger club than WBA as a starter.
That’s a number 3 keeper role.
And often for much older keepers.
Ingram is still only 32 yet only seems to have regular played in about 3 years of the 10 or so since he left us.
He’s probably earnt a lot more money as a number 2 for a Championship club than he would have being a regular starter at a League 2 club.

Not an ex player, but someone linked to WWFC history. Paul Cavell the ex Stafford Rangers, Boston,Dagenham and Macclesfield striker has sadly died aged just 63.
Martin O’Neil put a bid in for Cavell when he was at Boston utd, which the pilgrims rejected. Whilst scouting at York Street, Keith Scott grabbed Mr O’Neil attention, and the rest they say is history.

LOL you cannot make it up, Mike Dodd’s first interview as Assistant Head Coach at Blackburn and he says…“it’s been a real worldwind 48 hours, you know it’s been a world wind 24 hours being in the building”. From around 04:40 in.

How on earth can you know if your group is honest within 7-8 hours of your first working day. Can’t believe he keeps landing these jobs.
I have a well connected contact at Sunderland, who informed me that Dodds has a very high opinion of his own coaching abilities, and isn’t afraid to tell people.
Although he hastened to add, no evidence of this ever emerged at the stadium of light. He said he was basically a youth team coach, who got over promoted, due to emergency situations, as they kept sacking managers.
He still comes across very much like that,and in my opinion has been very fortunate to blag jobs he has. He seems to be unable to process that constant possession with no pace or element of risk, will mean very few scoring opportunities will be created.

I sometimes have to record videos as part of my job and can attest that it’s quite hard to come across as a believable human being, and very easy to fall back on stock phrases.

Sounds like someone being nasty for the sake of it, or giving you want you want to hear.
Both Speak man and Le Bris, were positive about his input. And, its clear Tony Mowbray rated working with him.
Football coaches dont generally get poached and keep getting jobs if they are bad at being a coach.
He may have struggled as our head coach, ive not seen anything to indicate he is a bad coach who can work with a manager.
