We would never have had a damp firework during Couhigs reign!
Love it @Bayo
Yes yes yes typos happen and the Internet loves nothing more than to spot them.
Was it a typo? Or just a criminal lack of understanding of the phrase?
I remember getting it wrong once and being rightly shamed too.
Heâs real name is Michael Barrett but not the one who used to present nationwide
Every day is a school day on the Gasroom.
Shaky has lived in Marlow for over 20 years.
And had his Covid jabs at Adams Park.
Lionel who?
Behind the green door.
In This Old House.
We need to get rid rid of Norris he signed for us on a free so itâs not like weâll lose any money getting rid of him.
Hopefully we werenât dim enough to put him on a deal until summer 2027 or weâll have to give him a fairly big pay off to get rid.
Hmmm remember who was making those decisionsâŚ
Whatever we do in January, we ought to try and get our business done early. After the Cardiff game on NYD, we have a run of fixtures all against teams within the batch from 9th - 21st separated by just 3 points, right up until the end of Feb when we play Stevenage. Thatâll be a really crucial period - by the end of which we could either be in play offs contention or mired in relegation trouble. Leaving our business till the end of January and sacrificing points could be disastrous.
Makes perfect sense. This next period after the Cardiff game will define our season. Sure weâve got money to bring players in but do you trust the recruitment team bearing in mind the rubbish theyâve bought in and which teams are going to take the rubbish. The squad is huge and I cannot believe weâre just going to add to it.
With each passing game, the list of requirements is getting ever longer.
All the optimism from the glut of summer signings has totally evaporated.
I am struggling to comprehend the scale of just how bad most/all of them have turned out to be.
The real mystery is Connor Taylor. Admittedly it was in a relegated team, but you donât get POTS anywhere by accident. Is it purely confidence? Why does Dan Casey, a much more limited footballer look so much better.
Probably because Casey does what he can do with total commitment to the cause
Casey has brought into the clubâs vision and knows that he needs to keep performing to stay where he is. Taylor came in with a large price tag, prob a nice payrise, maybe a little bit of arrogance from his last season and expected to be given an easier time? Casey has taken his opportunities whereas Taylor hasnât
