Fancied watching, but premier sports not for me

And won a free kick after a great run

He didn’t

He did well though. Pleased for him.

He was their best player by a long margin today - just frustrating he was not that good when he was with us

Remember you owe us two summers worth of tournaments next year.

We were better without Mullins

I don’t get why he gets in the side?

Against Stevenage he had 13 touches and gave the ball away 9 times. Today in the 10 role he seemed incapable of finding any space. He either stood by a defender or ambled across the pitch from left to right as the play moved.

one gentle chip to the corner of the goal, easily saved, doesn’t count as sufficient contribution.

While Woodrow struggles to hold the ball up he at least has the experience to make a few things happen when the ball is at his feet.

Woodrow and Morley were benched due to Knocks picked up previously - Duff has been criticised for his team selection today, but he made the subs when he had to, what to you want, previously injured players starting and then having to go off ? - the plan today worked as well it could have, given we don’t have a target man as yet - give Duff some credit, he has done the best he could have !

We deserved three points but take the one , we seem to rush our passes and lose the ball too much . I know duff wants us to progress up the field quickly but only when it’s right to do so. Plymouth manager saying their disallowed goal should have stood , it looked off side to me ? Thought Hazard considering the abuse he got did well , we seem solid at the back have a good midfield but need a striker or two and someone to give competition to mullins who I think is not ready makes too many mistakes .

Weird some fans last season were having h*** ones over Junior. So poor. Steps over four times too many before actually passing when he should have. Fred an Thomas miles better. We need 4/5 wingers. Micah showed against Reading he’s to weak atmo fouls his man and gets out muscled… If we had Vidigal, Thomas, Fred and Junior we’d be set. Junior needs to learn to time his shooting and releasing of the ball.

Stockport, Orient and Wigan away

Reading, MK, Wednesday at home.

What’s the expectations for points at 8 games?

One of the pixels is faulty though

Hope we beat Reading and Wednesday - MK do not figure in my mind as they don’t exist, draw against the rest would be good !

Hand?

hard ons

I didn’t rate Mullins at all today, and I thought that Henderson had a poor game until Mullins went off.

Henderson is the beating heart, what an engine. But his workrate doesn’t always translate into tangible offensive contributions.

Mullins might’ve been a better option coming on when Plymouth were tiring. But seems like Duff’s hands were tied by minor injuries and in any case, the Greens were getting more desperate and airborne as the game got stretched which wouldn’t have suited JM. He’s a good squad player but not a starter for me when everyone’s fit.

I already have a doozy: Wycombe Home Kits followed by Wycombe Away kits. Those two tourneys will keep us occupied!

Head ?

Tough game today, disjointed first half but much better in the second. Had my doubts about Taylor starting again, but fair play, best I’ve seen him play in a Chairboys shirt.

Thought Henderson, Woodrow, Scowen and Hazard were good today, plenty of positives to build from and it was good to see the team dig in and fight in the second half against a strong physical test given by Plymouth Argyle.

Still think we need some forward reinforcements, maybe two more and potentially another full back for cover that can do both sides.

Slightly concerned by Jack too, acknowledging that he hasn’t had a full pre-season. As others have said, he’s our leader and his importance to the team is huge, but he should be gradually reintroduced and his loading needs to be carefully managed to get him back to the levels we know he can reach.

Better than Blackpool, plenty of positives and we roll on.
