Funny thing is a lot of Wednesday fans are in agreeance that they got away with it. Pen not given that should’ve been and pen given that probably shouldn’t have been annoying but play like we did and we should have 3 points tomorrow. Statement win tomorrow would do

I’m no use at formations, tactics and so on. I think in option 1 you have our best individual players out there with Harvie injured. Would it work? Does it have on field leadership? Don’t ask me.
The giant Eden screen on the roundabout is a prime position. Not sure if WWFC has utilised before but missing a trick if not.

Barry out for 3 months. Never like to see a player get injured, sorry for Barry but not for cheating Sheffield Wednesday.

In that case it looks like another 6000 + attendance. So despite being bottom, it will be the 1st time in 33 years, that we have had 3 consecutive league gates of over 6k from the opening game.

This is the 1st time for 33 years this has been achieved. With Reading up next, it’s highly likely a 4th in a row 6k plus gate from the season off will be achieved.
I believe this will be a new recorded record.
In the 1952/53 season, we kicked off with gates off 6k,7k and 8000. But the next home game a 4 nil victory v Ilford, it appears no official gate recorded.

Someone else has mentioned it, the join where the grass meets the astroturf is where I believe Barry turned his ankle over. Barry was level with me and I was watching the incident and it appeared to me the astro acted like a curb as he had part of his foot on the astro and part on the grass. It looks like a curb with 90 degree angle rather than sloping down under the grass. I could be wrong.
From my perch up in the Frank Adams, it looks like there is a gap where those two join. Also, the white line is very close to the astro which I do not remember it being that close.
The photo further up and my one view of it do not necessarily back up what I saw but I think it is something the club should take a look at. As it could be a risk for anyone of our players, as well as the opposition.
Sometimes there are unintended consequences of doing something which seemed a smart move at the time. I wish Barry a speedy recovery, as I wouldn’t wish an injury on anyone.

It has been used on a couple of occasions, I think only last season. Which is a shame as it would ideally advertise every single home match.
I wish him a speedy recovery,but in the adsence of anyone else having the issue in over 60 matches,I will not be jumping on that band wagon.

I saw them putting the nets away under ground a couple of games ago and that was the first time I’d seen that, so not sure how long the astro has been down and when those types of modifications were done.
However, I concede I normally arrive in my seat from the Vere with about 30 seconds to spare but 2 games ago I was in my seat 30 minutes before for some reason. I feel the gap between the white line and astro has changed in the close season.
Based on your 60 games argument then cars still shouldn’t have seat belts in the rear, it should definitely get reviewed and something done if it is deemed necessary but I agree I am not sure it needs the hysteria on socials.
The edges and hatches were all done when the pitch was fully relaid with the new drainage, heating and watering system in the summer of 2025. So it’s been like that for over a season now.
I wonder if some of the under astro parts are settling more than expected?
