New shirt next season

…as always likely to be a 1 year shirt at some point within that contract - because maths - and I would think they use that as the reason and we can all argue over the “real” reason depending on how favourable they feel towards the ownership structure.I personally never felt that strongly for this seasons shirt. It fucked around with the quarters too much for my liking so I am not sorry to see it go.

The 5 year deal with Hummel (I believe) was always meant to be a new kit every season. Due to the fiasco of the first seasons’ delayed release, they agreed to extend the first season to 2 years. I agree though, I hope we go back to a more traditional, simple style and a lighter sky blue. Make the sleeves opposite colours and bring back navy socks.

Putting my boring hat on, I would be more shocked if theres a new sponsor printed on the (assumed) new kit than if it we baby pink.

Would have though Origin signed a 1 year deal which would still be in effect at 2:45 saturday afternoon so, assuming it is a new kit design, it will either have origin on it, or sponsorless

Agreed. Unless Lommy’s paid them off (which would be quite ironic given Origin are a sponsor) but it’s a billionaires world now.

Are we definitely playing in the new kit? I read the club’s tweet as that it would be paraded around the ground before the match (would be a nice touch if it was worn by the Academy kids so they could get a lap of honour for their season and the B&B win) but then the first team would wear this season’s shirt during the match itself.

It’s already arranged for the Academy lads to parade the B&B cup, at half time
