well if he wants to give a half-arsed non-response, sadly the Danish option (I forget whether it was Hagelskjaer or Westergaard that dropped this beauty?) of “Well, um…(brain cogs whirr…) I’ve always wanted to play in England” would not really be a goer.

Not a significant upgrade on anyone currently out wide. Possibly a squad player or an unknown quantity with potential. I’ll reserve judgment for now — welcome, Mr Tiley! Isn’t there a fan with that surname?

I bet he hasn’t very often been addressed by a fan as Mr Tiley. Or Mr Tilley for that matter. And far from reserving judgment, you categorically state that he is not a significant upgrade on any player “currently out wide”.
For a player the club have apparently been interested in for a couple of years and who is, I believe, 27 years old, to suggest that he might possibly be an unknown quantity with potential seems a little wide of the mark.
As someone else suggested, 7 assists is quite possibly more than any of last season’s high fliers achieved.
But I’ll reserve judgement until he has played at least a few games.

Micra, we said the same thing – we’re both reserving judgement. That said, he’s got 7 assists in League Two, which is more than Cam, Leahy, and GMac with 6 each in League One… though I’m not sure 7 in League Two is necessarily better than 6 at a higher level

God it must be horrendous living in your world. So pessimistic about everything. You haven’t seen him play and he’s already a disaster.

so many fans are happy with mediocrity, have to aim for the best to achieve goals, look at the business thst Blackpool., Huddersfield , Plymouth and Bolton have done…then look at ours…night and day comes to mind…

Unless people think we are starting off with Tafa at CB, im sure everyone knows that the squad will be reahaped, quite dramatically in all likelihood.
BUT…its end of season so all we have is the excitement of transfers, and the ability to judge and not judge signings at the sane time!

Not sure when the sane time will be upon us @Benk. But one thing’s for sure. It won’t be as soon as next Monday (16 June) when the summer window opens.
