All jokes aside I would love to know whose idea buying the record signings was and the criteria for choosing them. Was it The Coach we wanted but we did not get or a Management group decision? I’m not knocking them as they maybe The Player(s) next season for all I know but still intrigued to know the process.

Given that we turned down a reputed £7m from Luton, I would expect the fee to be at least £10m.
Honestly I could see us taking that.
Especially if it can secure us a long term talent pipeline out of West Ham Academy

He comes from Portugal, he’s never in his goal. Batista plays for Casa Pia and has had some better moments for them at the end of his career, 19 years after making his debut for Wycombe.
Only played 3 games this season and looks as if he’s retiring at the ripe old age of 38.
