That second one is clearly a fake account.
very quiet on rhe rumour fromt …
I know the window has only just opened. But deep down, I was hoping for something.
I don’t think we signed anyone last year until first week in July. Then went crazy!

It’s all youth recruitment now. No new first teamers until 2035 when they’ve grown up.
Hartridge signed 30th May
Would have liked to have seen Bradley signed but I assume him and his agent are seeing what’s out there. Perhaps Luton?
To be fair, it’s only been two weeks and about 4 days since our season ended (most teams finished 12 days earlier than us) so I rather suspect most people involved in the club - as well as many players ours and those we are interested in - are taking a well earned rest and holiday.
Everyone forgotten what seemed like an eternity that any comms or information, let alone signings, that came out of the club after the Sunderland play off loss?
Think we’re going to just have to be a little bit patient until we hear things. I’m sure work is going on in the back ground but until everyone’s back from their breaks we’ll need to endure all the rumours about our players leaving and James whatshisface at the BFP linking us with every player out of contract stating they “could”’be interested
That is a bit disrespectful to James, a young lad trying to make his way in journalism.
Much the same could be said for your post that could have got the same message across in half the number of words.
I stand corrected. But typically you won’t see much activity until we reach July.
- Writing isn’t my profession. I may waffle on, deal with it.
- My post had more research put into it than any of his most recent transfer speculation articles.
- Disrespectful? Maybe. I find the lack of research and work put in disrespectful to the reader. Most of it is click bait at best. “Player X COULD be signed by Wycombe” is what most of it has been. I mean, sure it’s a step up on the bad old day of no reporting. But it’s only about one step up.
- Are you James? Sorry I hurt your feelings.
what a sad individual you are.
Irony.
Takes one to know one I guess. What’s your honest thoughts of Luke Leahy? I don’t think you have mentioned it recently.
‘WHY NO NEW PLAYERS?’
New player…
‘Why that new player…never heard of him.’
And repeat until August when
‘Bang average, we’ll struggle to survive this season’ can be posted.
Apologies in advance for bringing up another BFP clanger in last Friday’s edition.
There was a pullout* supplement relating I think to local businesses and other organisations which included a picture of a beaming Jack Grimmer and equally happy looking Mike Dodds in what was clearly a pitchside, post-match embrace.
Unfortunately, the caption read “Defender Jack Grimes and manager (sic) Mike Dodds”.
*pullout is anachronistic I think. Since the demise of staples, no pulling is required.
oh dear , i bet you never make mistakes stacking those shelves at Tescos!
Can we just… i dunno… just try not to be dicks to eachother?
The end of gasroom 2.0 started to get a little spikey… i hoped the end of the down vote might have helped this forum.
I must say… in all honesty that this version of our forum has carried on in the same vein. Im sad to say… although i am ever so appreciative of the current custodians… i dont feel at home on here like i did with the previous 2 incarnations… im not sure if im being over sensitive? If a lot of the old crew have not followed over? Or if tensions are high after a disappointing end to the season and an unknown next season?
Something sadly just dosent feel the same…
Actually I think the new Gassroom is a lot better and less confrontational than the old incarnation. You are always going to get heated exchanges on any football forum, but they seem to me to be less aggressive and repetitive in the last few weeks.
This is no way a criticism of the good old doctor.
I dont agree @Bayo tbh but i accept your opinion and further question my own sensitivity over the matter
