I would expect it happens in pretty much all transfers.
If you dont know what the player wants and for how long, why would you negotiate to buy him.
Wycombe aren’t going to make 4 offers, if the players wants 10k more than we will offer.

Me too. I was pretty rubbish but played with enthusiasm. We had an AstroTurf at school, so all the schools wanted to play us, so it was always fun getting stuck into the grammar school teams.
I Remember standing in the terrace as a teenager in the 90’s watching our players in awe.
And now look at Wycombe… I’m just enjoying the ride.

Given the comments on the Barnsley twitter feed regarding their line up today (and the omission of Connor) it’s safe to say they are resigned to the fact he’s leaving.
My only concern is Huddersfield were apparently sniffing around; but I’m still confident he wants to visit the chair museum.

You surely don’t miss two key pre season games in a row if you’re match fit unless the metaphorical pen and paper have been out. Gross negligence otherwise. He must have agreed personal terms with us and want out.

Am told Barnsley made it public about a fourth WWFC bid for Luca Connell but the amount of £1.5m has been significantly inflated in the hope of attracting interest from other clubs and creating a bidding war. WWFC’s latest bid wasn’t seven figures.
